This movie has a lot of significance in my life, as a musician and performer. Seeing Jake and Elwood, "On a mission from God", canvassing for their big show, and watching the performance they gave at their concert in the movie was magic to me. Seeing the crowd respond to their antics was mesmerizing. I wanted to make that magic myself." -George Hartline

The movie, which came about from a Saturday Night Live skit featuring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, was a box office hit and went on to become a cult phenomenon; and the soundtrack is a classic, featuring Aretha, James Brown, Ray Charles, and of course, The Blues Brothers Band.

We're excited to kick off our "BLUES WEEKEND" at Reverie Playhouse on Friday, March 27th with a showing of this John Landis (Trading Places, Three Amigos) gem.

This is our FIRST feature-length movie in our 31 seat venue so get your tickets in advance to make sure you get a seat!
